How to use these classifications
Conjugation I has an unstressed -ω in the active first-person present (γράφω). Conjugation II has two common present patterns: Pattern A, -άω / -ώ (αγαπάω / αγαπώ), and Pattern B, -ώ, -είς, -εί (θεωρώ). A and B distinguish patterns within Conjugation II; they are not separate conjugations. These are the same broad groups used by Modern Greek Grammar. Middle/passive endings have their own patterns; consult each table. Source-model numbers are references from the original verbs index, not additional conjugation groups or grammar-course lesson numbers.
Sharing a model does not make every form, meaning or use identical. Read each verb’s corrected tables and usage notes, especially for middle, formal and irregular forms.
Middle/passive-form verbs are grouped here by their forms, not necessarily by passive meaning. A deponent verb lacks a corresponding everyday active paradigm with the same meaning; this broader filter is not a verified list of deponents. A limited or selected table shows the forms appropriate to that entry; it is not a rule that every unlisted form is impossible. Impersonal entries are used in the third person.
The numbering follows the original Modern Greek Verbs index, whose model system draws on Anna Iordanidou’s verb reference. It is retained as a navigation aid, alongside the reviewed modern entries.
